Well....it's not as bad as I thought it would be. One point for Slytherin for a being a little different. That middle "beat poetry (?)" attempt really drags but I suppose he wanted to do something there to give Dave's solo a poke in the eye. Agree with the Leonard Cohen singing a super-villian theme song vibe, hilarious. It should be on the soundtrack to the next Despicable Me movie.

In the end, what's the point of doing this other than stroking his own ego and "Grabbin' that cash with both hands...".?

Not impressed by this version of Money, Nick liked the album, but not so much for me.

Difficult for me to hear the actual track because the absence of Dave, Rick and Nick is so unbelievably loud.

I'd add Dick to that list as well.

I've had a few more listens on decent headphones and it actually sounds quite nice apart from the drums. There's some subtle stuff going on in the background.

Its the spoken word bit that ruins it for me. Cut that out, keep that cello line in for a few more bars and it'd make a nice 2am whiskey song.

I've long gotten used to having Floyd opinions no one else has, so everyone else bristling at me wanting a redux of the Final Cut is not surprising.

When I hear a completely new version of Roger and then I will be able to fully appreciate how it turned out. Judging the whole, knowing only a fragment, is not in my rules.

The perception of music is conservative: all really want musical instruments and performers familiar for years, isn't it? The mere fact of the hurricane of criticism makes us think about the future of this album.
