So just my take on this...

Y! as a web site was comfortable, functional and familiar. So is R&D (well maybe not familiar yet). The key to all of this is the membership, and I'm seeing a whole lot of familiar names. So I'm viewing this more as an "upgrade" and less as a closure. As long as we are a family, it's all good.

Thanks to all who've worked to make this possible! It's great to have a new place to discuss Floyd with enthusiasts like this. I can't wait to see how things develop as time goes on.

It will be sad deleting my bookmark fro a Y!, a location that I normally visited at least twice a day, even though I posted less there over the last few years, instead mostly preferring to read others' thoughts and download torrents.
With that said, I can't begin to express my gratitude to the good folks who took the reins and gave us our new home, especially Nils.
I'm looking forward to making my first contribution to help support this site once a system for that is set up.
