The multicam video for the Intuit Dome 10-25-2024 is now up and seeding pending approval, assuming I got the DHT settings right. I had a good time putting it together, though syncing all those clips was a real challenge. It's worth watching the whole thing all the way through, since some of his best playing is on the newer material. Enjoy.

He chose his first show in 8 years to be the one he would record. I love David but he seems to be quite prone to shooting himself in the foot with this kind of thing.

true & good example the Atlanta 87 footage which was planned to be the DSOT but was scrapped

You're probably right overall, but Fat Old Sun and A Great Day for Freedom were awesome in Rome on the 29th!

At the Intuit Dome, I noticed the second set seemed to drag a bit and the crowd was getting restless. A lot of the tunes were quieter, and with 'Freedom' and 'Coming Back', there were two tunes with the big solemn a cappella vocal intro. Not trying to be Mr. Poopy Pants here, but it seems like a few tunes could have been rearranged for better energy. If they'd swapped 'Dark & Velvet' with WYWH between the sets, I think it would have made a positive difference. Since the first set had already had three old-school tunes, it seems like the dazzling video for 'Dark & Velvet' would have kept the energy going in Set 1, and WYWH would have woken the crowd up from their coma in Set 2 by saving a classic tune for later in the show. I'll be sure to send Mr. Gilmour a memo with my thoughts for next time around, heh heh.

I do agree, somewhat. The second set feels a little disjointed, I am glad 'A Great Day' was dropped at the Bowl, it helped with the flow of set 2. I do like the song, just the placement of some of the songs I feel could have been better. It's a stupid fan nit-pick though. I really think 5AM should have been left out and opened with Black Cat, or an extended Black Cat. Either way, I sound like a nit-picker! LOL.

I'd like to point out the highlight of these shows for me were the new album played in it's entirety, so I'm not the casual fan who turns up to hear WYWH and Numb and then go off for 10 beers and 20 pees.

Same; I know we're nit-picking and I was there to hear everything. But there was a genuine lack of energy later in Set 2, while Set 1 seemed to burn a lot of older material.

As a whole it's fine, it just has a few spots that needed help. I genuinely enjoyed it all. Happy to see the maestro as much as I have on this short run, these things don't happen often as we all know. Glad we all enjoyed it!
