That worked great Skinny thanks, I converted the RW 2023-05-09 2.59gb down to 690mb and it plays fine.
My only concern is I have 21 days trial, does it stop working after the trial?
If so, are there any free equivalent apps please?
It so happens I had to do something similar today.
I used Voxengo's r8brain, from: https://www.voxengo.com/product/r8brain/
It's small, it's free, and easy to use. You can convert one file at a time, but it also has a "batch" option to load and convert several files at a time. It has worked great for me the couple times I've needed it.

Thank you,

You can also use xmediarecode! It’s free and does it all!

Picture a leader with no fucking brains!
Yeah, that's great! For anyone interested, it also works on Windows. I haven't tested any frontends, but with the help of google, it's easy to find the command line arguments needed to do all operations I have needed so far.
I use a standalone version of Xrecode III. It converts anything to anything, even obscure/obsolete formats like TAK and SHN. Drop DVDs in and it sees the audio streams. Videos the same. Every format has its own settings, plus overall settings. Split into file per channel, make multichannel folddowns. Make ringtones. It does everything, and has a great deal of user control over every setting possible. I recommend this to everyone who does a lot of work with various formats of audio or video
I'm the last guy to offer tech advice (i'm a lifelong dummy), but several of my free CD-burning programs auto convert hi-res to whatever it takes to burn a CDR.
I use CDBurnerXP and BURRRN.
Thought I'd post because I'm pretty sure I had this question and got these suggestions at the old Yeeshkul!
