Nice work getting the full uncompressed video!
This really does all come together into a nice watch and listen. That video had cuts between nearly every song. Spent a little more time than I wanted lining them all up. We're still pausing between tracks to save tap... erm, hard drive space.

This would probably be share worthy... How many people would I need to contact and get permission from here? 3 audio sources and at least 1 was reposted from Dime. (Haven't examined and folded #4 in yet.) 3 original videos and then a 4th's editing work. Then all the rendering and authoring. Anyway, it felt more like putting on a bluray than a bootleg in the end!

Returning to report from Hollywood Bowl last night (29th of Oct). What an incredible show. I loved it. Seems like Scattered solo has been growing in length. The Numb solos
I Thought his playing was fabulous, and his voice sounded great to me as well. For those going tonight, tomorrow or in NYC, enjoy!

Kieran Guitar had also uploaded the concert in MOV format to another location (I believe uncompressed), it is 29GB, and I grabbed it before it was taken down. It has the same length, so probably otherwise the same. I'm not sure if it's less compressed than the MP4 file here, which is only 9.5GB. What is the difference? I don't know.

Interesting, do you know if the specs are the same on the video files? If it comes to it, I'm sure we can ask and get a response from them.

I have very basic video skills. I'm an audio guy (so I at least have respect for video). I can hit the appropriate levels of compression and/or proxy original video files back into final masters. If someone a little quicker wanted to make a finalized video+audio... Contact anyone for any needed permission, fill in the missing bits (maybe from the new source), etc etc. I'd poke at the audio a little more and hand over the files. Deliver it in both stereo and 7.1.4 surround (Atmos). The only way to combine above 8 channel surround mixes and video at present is with Atmos encoded audio. (Not just 12 channel but also encoded.) I'd hand over a stereo flac and a Dolby encoded mlp. I'd make it so the non-decoded 7.1 folddown and the Atmos decoder downmixes came out right. Haha, I already feel eyes rolling... Atmos bootlegs... idiot snob weirdo... Anyway, this could happen if anyone is interested.

Either way, thanks everyone for all the puzzle pieces that made for a great David Gilmour concert experience!

I was surprised that the Hollywood Bowl house screens were left off for the 10/29 show. Did anyone attend the other Hollywood Bowl shows? Was it the same? We saw David and the band for about 35% of the time on the circular screen behind the stage.

I was at the 30 October show last night. It was my first time at the Hollywood Bowl. So, I was oblivious to the fact that there were unused house screens. Yes, the circular and sometimes non-circular images were used at times throughout the show. And other times it was a light show only, often with lasers, on the stage or projected toward the sky over the audience.

I've avoided this site for the past several weeks to avoid learning about what David might play during the show, and I was completely surprised by his choices from the PF catalog, other than I was expecting WYWH and Comfortably Numb. I'm so glad I went. It was a great show! I loved every second of it. I was delighted that Romany was able to participate.

My first time seeing David live since 20 April 1994 PF show in Oakland. 30 years!

Great that you enjoyed it! Like you, I avoided spoilers before attending the RAH show on the 15th. Loved it. My first time seeing him since 1980..... 44 years had got behind us!

I saw the Intuit Dome show last week and the 30th at the Hollywood Bowl. Both shows didn't make use of the big screens (only the screen behind them was utilized), and at the Bowl they didn't deploy the mirror ball either (unless it was very hard to see from where I was standing, in the wide aisle behind the box seats). The lasers were much more incredible at the Bowl. I was glad though to be above them at the Dome (we were in the nosebleeds) but below them at the Bowl. It was cool to see the lightshow from both above and below.

One nice touch at the Intuit Dome was each seat had a light built into the armrest and they were all turned on at the end of the show (during either Scattered or Comfy), creating a pretty spectacular reaction from everyone in the entire Dome. I imagine that will be a unique experience for the crowd on this tour. It was also pretty funny when the crowd reacted with a roar when the LA Dodgers won Game #1 of the World Series on that walk off grand slam. The band must have wondered why everyone was going crazy at what seemed to be an incongruous moment. And then the Dodgers won the final game too during the intermission of the show on the 30th! What a coincidence to have been at a DG show for both big LA baseball moments I thought.

I thought the sound was much better at the Bowl, with more clarity and power. My partner and I sat up really high in the Dome and the sound was really muddy and bass/drum heavy. I also found the strobe effects and lights in general much more glaring and even obnoxious at times at the Dome, but at the Bowl the lights were spectacular.

Did anyone else think David was struggling just a little with his voice at the beginning of the 30th performance?

I wonder if this will be his final full scale tour. I was a bit sad thinking it might be possible, and marveling that it's been 40 years since I first saw him solo at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago on the About Face tour.

            edit to add this -
Here's a YT playlist of something like 8 songs from the HB show on the 30th, shot from pretty close to the stage. The taper also holds his phone fairly steadily and keeps it focused on the entire stage. You multicam creators can probably make use of some of them with permission -

And this uploader seems to be in the front row, at a HB show and at the Circus Maximus -

Do you remember when that was during the show?

I think that might also have been because of your location at the Intuit Dome. I thought the sound was very very good there, and the two recordings from the lower level bear that out.

He's been quoted as saying he wants to do another album and another tour right away. Hopefully that happens. If the next one is a farewell tour, maybe it will hit more cities.

I'm about halfway through editing the multicam video of the Intuit Dome show. Here is a preview of a rough 7-camera cut of Sorrow, unlisted but anyone with the link can watch it. The view from the corner of the stage when the camera pans up to look at the lights was my view; everything else is from Youtube. No camera can capture how bright those lights were during the guitar solo. It was overwhelming!

If you mean the seat lights coming on, it was during the second solo in CN. Looking at my cell phone photos/videos today I found that I caught the moment on film (so to say).

No, I mean when the crowd cheered for the World Series game.

Great show tonight and Gilmour was in fine voice. Out of the many times I've seen him perform, this was up there with the best of them. In fact, his guitar playing has never been better.

And yes, I headbanged along with Romany!

I was also there and agree. I think his guitar playing was the best among the 5-6 or so shows I have seen over the years. Also pleasantly surprised at how good his voice sounded. Great crowd too. Very polite and gave a him a great reception.

Indeed, an absolutely incredible show. Not a single issue with his voice. I think they really fucked up choosing to shoot in Rome lol.

Sorry we couldn't meet man! If he comes 'round again, you bet yer ass we will meet that time. Loads of people in my circle were there along with me and most of us taped it.

This show was way better than Roger in 2022. Easy. Lol.

The videos I've watched of the New York shows look amazing.
When I watched the Rome videos I wasn't that bothered to have missed out...
These short tours don't seem to give Dave enough time to properly warm up.
