Why is (or isn't) Tigers in The Final Cut?

It's a great little minute and a half. I find it works better as an extra verse of the song than as a reprise though.

That doesn't work at all for me because the reprise was recorded at a different time and sounds very different. It also doesn't have a proper way to attach to the song because the song already ended. The way they're crossfaded on the single is just awful, because, as evidenced by the demo, they were never meant to be that close together

The one I stitched together flowed very well but a fellow with your talents could do it better still I'm sure!
