Col is an influential and significant figure amongst Pink Floyd fans across the globe who has been following Pink Floyd since 1966. We discuss Col's UFO Club experiences and the London scene. Col emigrated after the Hyde Park 1970 concert and reconnected to the band in Australia in 1971 and 1988. Perhaps best known for 'A Fleeting Glimpse' (www.pinkfloydz.com), Col's website was created 25 years ago and features countless stories, interviews and fascinating Pink Floyd insights. Col has met Roger Waters on four occasions and, as you will hear, it hasn't always gone smoothly.

Great conversation. I think Col's Roger hate is a bit misguided. I get that there was clearly a miscommunication between Roger's people and Col, but Roger was clearly in a bad mood and hustling to get back on stage and this dude is telling him to smile for the camera. Like, you know who you're talking to right? Col's a great guy and has done a lot for the online Pink Floyd community but I'm a bit put off he thinks he's entitled to special privileges with the band. He's just a fan like everyone else and is not owed anything by any of them.

Anyways, I enjoyed the podcast so many thanks to Nils and Ian for this.

Another very enjoyable episode. I would give just about anything to see the giant sausage balloon floating up out of UFO. That is a great story!
