Fingal's Cave Podcast Episode #7 - Ron Geesin on ATOM HEART MOTHER: „Does it mean anything, Mr. Geesin?' No, it's just me having fun!"

    Hello Everyone!

Three weeks are gone and we have a new episode out!

And this is not just another episode but an exciting interview with one of the most extraordinary composer, musician, artist and collector out there. What a ride that was! Learn more about his Scottish heritage, his brilliant humor, his arguments during the creation of ATOM HEART MOTHER (where he almost hit someone) and furthermore how he had a lot of fun messing with the PINK FLOYD back-track at that time.

On a personal note: In this episode we would like to welcome Phil Salathé to our group as co-host. We are happy and proud that from now on Phil will be a part of the team and support us with his endless knowledge of music in general an Pink Floyd in particular.

This time we have a regular audio-file as well as an unedited video version which we recommend to fully understand his humorous remarks. Enjoy!

Just finished watching it. Very very interesting, especially when he gets onto topics other than working with the Floyd. Comes across as a genuinely nice guy. Well done to Nils and Phil. He mentioned working with an Italian tribute band 'Pink Floyd Legend'. To be honest, I'd not heard of them so paused the podcast at that point to go look for them on YouTube. They're a bit good! I'll spend a little time later exploring further.

Anyone else keep thinking "Pete Townshend" when they were watching it?
