Hollywood Bowl Shows - Be Ready!

Hi Folks,

Just saw the first Bowl show last night. A beautiful show, and Dave's voice was mostly in excellent shape! HOWEVER, be warned, the temperature at this outside venue is dropping into the low 50s at night. I think that is something like -30 celsius. That might be an exaggeration. In any case, dress in layers, and bring a hat, and maybe gloves. By the end of the show I was freezing, and I was dressed for it. There was also a breeze, and that made it worse. Tonight the breeze should be a little less, but trust me - you can take off layers if you are too hot, but I bet you don't!

Watch for me. I'm the tall guy with the beard!

Not as bad as night #1, but a bit chilly by the end. Less wind on night 2.

I was at the 30th show also, and felt pretty cold when I was up in my seat high in the Bowl. After I moved further down I felt much better and enjoyed the show much more. But did anyone think DG was having a little vocal trouble at times, especially at the beginning of the show. I thought he sounded a little rough or sick. The sound though was much better at the Hollywood Bowl than at the Intuit Dome last week.

I wonder if this is his farewell tour.
