I wonder if anyone could help with a little personal research and point me towards the dates where Roger scolds the audience for their rowdy behaviour and maybe the best dates for loud firecracker sounds, just in case I am missing any. Thanks in advance!

I know there was a lot of this during the NYC Madison Square Garden run of shows (July 1st through the 4th) particularly during the 4th of July show (the show I attended). You would hear a barrage of fireworks go off followed by the crowd booing.

Lighting off a pack of firecrackers was thing to do for teenagers back in the 70s, and doing it around the July 4 holiday (a day celebrated with fireworks) would have been "the thing to do" at a concert by a band with crashing planes, exploding pigs, and the like. And the market is flooded with illegal fireworks at that time of year. I'm not saying it's right, though. I've have always felt the July 4 context is often missing from the narrative when we talk about Roger's anger during this timeframe. Many of us in the US are hearing fireworks from our homes in the days leading up to and after July 4, year after year. It's a thing.
