Gilmour Luck & Strange Tour Merch

For a great many years, I have not been purchasing overpriced tour merch and viewing the current items offered by David, a $58.30 t-shirt is not likely to tempt me,less so the $102.02 hoodie.

Oof, even for tour merch, $58 for a shirt is pretty heinous.

I generally don’t spend much time at the merch stand either, last time I bought a shirt was at a show in Vegas after I’d won $80 from $20 at a slot machine beforehand and decided “fuck it, it’s basically free now”. Though sometimes I will get a VIP package ticket for the right show if it guarantees a front row spot and a worthwhile experience, and those typically come with some neat merch. The recent Frog Brigade tour was a good example, got to stand right in front of Les Claypool as they played Animals front to back, got a signed poster out of it, and got to see some lucky bastard win a signed toaster at the trivia beforehand

And this monstrosity would be too much of an ask to grab even if it was free.

To get my money, I greatly prefer a cleaner, more linear look to a tour shirt. Splashes of color like that one ... yeah ... not really my thing, either.

Now, if they can come up with a black tee with a similar front-and-back layout as the hoodie, I'm sold. Or how about just the silhouette from the cover (like the cap)? Those are the only two wearable items that piqued my interest so far; not sure if I'm up for parting with a hundred and forty five bucks for them, though!
