Rolling Stone's Review of David Gilmour Album 'Luck and Strange', 5 September 2024

Here's the link to Rolling Stone's review of David's new album:

    https://www.rollingstone.com/music/m...ew-1235095182/

Other than the headline and the star rating, I haven't read the review myself, because I don't like to read full reviews of albums or movies that I intend to hear or see before doing so. My CD copy of the new album is already on its way to me from David's official US store, from where I ordered it in May, thinking that might be an advantage for trying to get a ticket to see a tour show in the United States. (It didn't provide an advantage here, after all.)

I have a subscription to Rolling Stone online, but I think they'll let you read an article or two without needing one yourself.

I saw that flex214 posted the full contents of the Rolling Stone interview with David under the posting of that link I posted last week. I commented on that earlier today that I hadn't posted the full contents out of concern that this forum could get into trouble for posting copyrighted material, but if that is not a concern, then I can copy and paste the full contents of this review here. Let me know, please. And thanks.

If you are using Firefox and hit F9 or click on the change toggle page view next to the URL it changes the reader view, you can see some paywall content.

It does not work on all paywall content, but it works on RollingStone..

I'll just leave this here. This should get you past most paywalls. Worked for me.

      What's required for a 10ft wall is a 12ft ladder...

And ultimately, who gives a fuck anyway?
