    Vienna July 1st, 1988 - Extra Guitarist?

I was informed by a friend, who was reading pinkfloydarchives.com, that it listed there being an unnamed guitarist showing up on stage during the encores of One Slip and Run Like Hell. You can easily see him with a red bandana in the audience videotape of the show. At first I thought it was Mark Knopfler, but it doesn't really look like him.

Does anyone have any information about this unknown guitarist? Many thanks in advance.

Also, Adams was left-handed; mystery guitarist is right-handed.

found nothing in the Visual documentary, nor in Vernon's book. looking for any video evidence for that show now.
would be good to get a direct link to that claim on the archives page.

Scott Page played guitar on some title during the tour in 88. Are you sure this is not him ?

Scott Page is visible playing guitar in the Vienna footage and that mullet is unmistakable. The guy with the headband is definitely another musician.

It does look like Nils. Not our Nils, a different Nils.
