    Has anyone heard these versions?

    https://youtu.be/tY4RRgvvP9M

    In The Beechwoods 00:00
Song 1 (from TEY Boxset)(low sound quality but there's an extended part) 4:10
What's this song that starts at 9:05
    Explosion (CWTAE) Bassline 12:37
"Unknown Song" from Zabriskie Point 14:49
Acoustic Guitar sounding like A Pillow Of Winds with Echoes famous ping sound 18:39
Transitions into One Of These Days, the Echoes ping is still there 19:25
Mudmen guitar solo 22:41 sounds like a different mix
Then bits of Love scene, Atom Heart Mother and Sysyphus

that was pretty avant-garde, wasn't it?

wasn't it on The Early Years box set; regarding Meddle this could be isolations of the 5.1 mix (or the quadrophonic mix for Echoes); and Mudmen was a part of the ambiant mixes.

each menu of the Early Years box set (each disk has several ambient mixes) : thus you even have some Obscured By Clouds ambiant mixes, a bass line around Alan Psychedelic Breakfast for the Atom Heart Mother era disk, etc...
It's easy to extract these loop ambient mixes.

Some of the old guard, including me, think you are onto something here. It's difficult to pinpoint the year. Anybody care to guess?

The simplicity of the guitar playing could easily be Syd, but the quality is such that I suspect it is a stylistic representation of the Syd era sound - created in modern times I suspect. If it were legitimate Syd era or even early era Dave Floyd, would this not have been big news and a documented source in the body of the box set presentation? It would make no sense at all to relegate a rare clip of interest to a DVD menu background. My best guess.

well like the other ambiant mixes for all the menus of the Early Years box set disks, it turned out until yet that the music is by Pink Floyd : for instance they did a mashup of Obscured By Clouds with When're You In.
My guess is that it's the "Interstellar Overdrive" live performance (since it almost sound like a studio version) mashup'ed with something else; the guitar is from Interstellar Overdrive. And of course it's Syd.

considering this fragment is the ambient menu for the Dramati/sation disc - my opinion is that this is part of unreleased David Gilmour variation of the Dramatic Theme from More soundtrac session

That's rejected for box set 1969 outtake.

Any information for the track? Was it just a random jam?

The track have long title that i cannot reveal due to request but it wasn't actually tape damage (looking at my files) but that track was going nowhere musically so it was rejected for inclusion on box set.

So there are more unreleased studio tracks than we actually think

Should we expect the The Early Years 2.0?

The playing is reminiscent of Syd, but the delay sound is all wrong. It sounds like an analogue delay pedal rather than anything Binson. With the Binson Echorec, the preamp and repeats really blend with the echoes into the integral tone of the guitar. A delay pedal just sticks echoes after the notes without such a deep, symbiotic interaction with the guitar tone or playing. The delay time on this recording is just a bit too long as well.

A fair facsimile of a studio outtake circa 1968, right down to the weird stereo image on the drums, but overall too clean sounding and with too much instrument separation.
