    Phil Manzanera autobiography published

    Hey all,

just a quick heads-up - Phil Manzanera has just published his autobiography:
    https://manzanera.com/new/revolucion...moir-march-22/

Yesterday I finished reading it and it's really well written and has lots of details about his long friendship with David Gilmour and how he got to produce Pink Floyd and Gilmour solo. Plus loads of other interesting stories - I've been a huge fan of his for decades but was still surprised by some of his collaborations that I hadn't been aware of.

    Highly recommended!

Thanks I'll check that out. One thing I've always found curious was during David's 2016 tour he had a major shake up in his live band at the time, including the departure of Phil. I had the sense at the time that some thought it was a personal dispute but I don't know why I thought that. Anyone know what I'm talking about ?

Yeah that does get covered in the book as well.
The very short answer is that Phil admits he had gotten a little bored and that Dave was right in his decision...

And not much about Floyd in there.
