For the first performance of DSOTM on January 20th 1972, they played an instrumental version of Breathe Reprise after Time, but the next night in Portsmouth they sang the Home again part
So did Roger write the lyrics to home again overnight?

From what I’ve read, the Breathe reprise was the third verse of Breathe but then they stuck it onto the end of Time, however I don’t know how accurate that story is. I believe Roger said he hadn’t written Eclipse yet early on and basically wrote it in one night and they performed it not soon after DSOTM debuted live.
