I've hypothesised before that the Brighton footage is, at best, a hasty edit of semi-coherently filmed shots from a soundcheck with some random shots of the actual gig in the evening edited in. This creates the illusion that there is more footage in the archive than there actually is. I think a lot of Careful comes from the soundcheck, which is why the pyro is only visible in half the shots of Roger screaming.
that's correct. All the close up shots were done before the shows, and you can see there are only two pyros behind Roger, in pictures of the show there are three though. Only a few shots from in front of the stage and further back in the venue were done during the shows. There is no full film. They do have full audio of the shows though, which should've been on the Dark Side 50th if you ask me.
