There's plenty I disagree with him on, but not this. Absolutely spot on. I remember reading up about what she was up to last year when her son passed on, and even in such a heartbreaking time for her, some of these same "legend" "icon "GOAT" people were focusing on her mental health issues and "failed" career and "odd" behavior in ways that were far less than charitable. There was little respect in the media for her voice, art, or humanity given while she drew breath. Just gawking and finger pointing thinly disguised as journalism. I get that Morrisey is grinding his own axe a bit here, but his grievances here happen to perfectly align with reality this time. Unfortunately.
