The film was edited on one 400ft reel by speedy and it’s almost 28min long.
For the anecdote, the film was lost (but known by Rob) and after some researches it was found mislabelled ! Sadly, some of his films are still missing, like his Genesis 1975 lamb tour film….
Thank you for all your work on this!

From looking at Speedy's date of birth on the YT info page, it’s fascinating to realise that he would have been just 20 years old when he captured this footage. Sad to read that he passed away in January 2021. Many thanks to all involved.

Wow, really hope this sees the light of day on here and also available off of youtube so we don't have deal with the youtube compression, which often squashes some of the finer details.

I can't believe such an iconic show that most of us have grown up with will now come to life...The last time this happened with such an impact is the KQED film....I had the vinyl of that for about five years, Raving and Drooling double album...which I put on to a cassette tape (and I still have that) which pretty much lived in my car stereo...then I got a really, really bad VHS tape where you had to squint your eyes to work out the image...followed by a second VHS where you could see the green visual effect but still garbage...That was still porn to me...And years later, eventually the internet came along and behold...with ethereal chord and all.... What we now have... So this Ivor Wynne show is going to make me cry like a baby...I remember the day I bought my record...mid 1980s...around the same time i got my first KQED VHS...I can still recall it being handed over the counter to me....almost 40 years ago....far out...and now It's coming alive....so frigging cool!!!

My lump-in-the-throat moment with this show is Waters introducing Shine On You Crazy Diamond over the opening drone and talking about Syd.

My dream, which has probably been done before (Harvested I think, TommyGun back in the early youtube era), is for someone to take all of the good quality footage we have of Floyd 72-77 and make a giant film of them performing dark side, wish, and animals all interspersed with photos and the Mr screen films throughout. I think with all the work people have been doing with restorations to 8mm Film and bootlegs this might be a cool project/reality. Especially since we at least have the footage that was restored/released on the immersion box sets of the Mr screen films.
                  Favorite Bootlegs: Santa Monica - 5/1/1970, Brescia - 06/19/1971, Los Angeles - 09/22/1972, Boston - 06/18/1975, NYC - 07/02/1977

I love this idea! I know some folks who may be able to pull it off but I think they're busy currently with other things. I'll pass this on to them!

Well said. I got into Floyd boots at a very young age and Ivor Wynne has incredible nostalgic values for me (hell, my profile picture IS FROM THAT SHOW!). This film is going to make me tear up for sure because I've seen the photographs... but seeing it in motion will be something else. I know that show like the back of my hand, I CANNOT wait!

Thanks! I don’t mind that they’re busy, as we can see with this new footage, good things come to those who wait

Since 2010 or so we have gotten a TON of official and non official releases that were holy grails for decades. I'm glad I got to see and hear stuff like this while understanding how coveted and rare most of this stuff is.

                              I really love:

                              1) that this is being released after so, so many time!
                              2) that we still have Raving&Drooling to talk about this. Without it, I'd probably NEVER ever watch this videos. Oh, how Yeeshkul lives in my heart.

What a great time to be alive, at the same time as you folks.

                              Life is good.

I had a very similar experience with the Wall Live at Nassau footage. I managed to download a copy of the show and got it transferred to a VHS tape so I could watch it on my 28" television 😊 It must have been around 1999/2000 and I felt like I had obtained the holy grail, even though the image quality was barely visible 😂
Ever since then I have been dreaming of an official release of the show! I still believe!
I'm amazed of how much footage we've gotten since then! Can't wait to see this 1975 footage!! 😊
