A long, long time ago, I was a big fan of The Yardbirds. It was their music in 1966 and 1967 that helped lead me to Pink Floyd.. It's been many years since I've even thought about The Yardbirds but this popped up today. I thought I'd give it a quick listen and was amazed how they've really captured the sound of the 1960s version of the band (Jim McCarty is still with them on drums). I've not watched it all yet (I will) but thought I'd put it here in case there was any other interest. Hopefully I'll catch them if they play any gigs in the UK.

The Yardbirds are always great. I was late to the party was a fan my whole life but only saw them live for the first time in 2013 at the bands 50th anniversary gig. I've seen them a dozen times since and even spent a weekend as there tech. Jim is always very creative and I saw him the other day at the memorial gig for top Topham whom becsme a good mate. I'd urge anyone to see them of they can. John Idan is a top front man.
