Hipgnosis SELLING part of it's catalog

So maybe the music catalog buying biz isn't so great (aka inflated prices?). From many sources, Hipgnosis Song Fund (HSF) is selling some of it's music catalogs (granted it's essentially to a sister company). But still, selling off just about $500 million of your assets doesn't look good.

Here is the list they're "selling" from the article, can't say I recognize a lot of them ($500 million for these??) :

Or maybe the music catalog biz is great -

Katy Perry selling her huge stock of five, yes five, albums (including stakes in publishing and masters) for a reported $225 million:

If I was her, I would take that in a heartbeat as well. Which artist isn't selling their catalog these days?

    Strange days indeed.

Pink Floyd, apparently. Because Roger and David can't agree on anything. For obvious reasons, I can't say the day that will happen is the day when pigs fly, but I can say that it will be the day when squids learn to breathe air.
