Yes I Have Ghosts - New Alternative Mix

David Gilmour wouldn't be David Gilmour if he didn't practice spreading different versions of his songs over and over again

as expected Lack And Strange release features an alternative mix version of Yes I Have Ghosts different from both of the original single version and Andy Jackson mix version

No Andy Jackson dance mix this time around? Despicable.

This feels like the Taylor Swift model of getting people to repeatedly pay for the same 'content' by tweaking it and rereleasing it on a cycle.

I was hoping for a song inspired by a NYC taxi cab honking his horn in traffic.

BTW the long instrumental ending to A Single Spark is beautiful. The album needs much more of that.

Do you really think thats the strategy? Getting people to buy the new Gilmour album for a bonus track?

Considering the contents of the deluxe set, yes

Went through the whole album. I expect the track I'll be listening to the most is the original Barn Jam.

It's included on every format, even the plain old CD so your assertation lacks any credibility.

Respectfully, I’m not sure you understood my comment. The deluxe set(s) include one or two bonus tracks not available elsewhere, and a picture book, for an extra $80 or something. So, yes, I do think part of the strategy to get people to pony up more cash is to buy the new album for a bonus track, similar to the Taylor Swift thing people have been taking about in this thread.

The topic of this thread is specifically the new mix of Yes I Have Ghosts, so yeah, your comment was completely unclear.

I thought my response directly addressing your comment about using bonus tracks to sell something was pretty clear, but I’ll be sure to thoroughly explain the context of my comments in the future to avoid any further unnecessary hostilities over literally nothing.

You need to work on your reading comprehension skills as well. I specifically wrote bonus track (not plural), referring to the topic of this thread. Hostile enough for ya?
