i've been having buffy the vampire slayer on in the background while i tool away on the pc, and this caught my attention! i didn't really understand how (in the show universe, i mean) it could be there, until i read on reddit that someone pointed out that "The set decorator for the series, David A. Koneff, used a ton of music posters of bands that he liked." are there a lot of these little easter eggs in popular shows, old or new? (i'm sure 'DSotM' probably has been on many a wall in many a production, though i can't think of one. i mostly watch sci-fi/fantasy films/shows these days.) the only other comparable thing i can think of is the first asia album poster in the 40 year old virgin...
