Hmm, Roger wearing the same outfit he’s been wearing since 2010 for In The Flesh, a satirical song about fascism, well within the context of the show he’s been touring for almost a year now.

    Anyway…

It's not a good look, that's for certain. Is he really that desperate for attention?
Does Hugo Boss still operate in Germany, he stopped making those uniforms in the 1940's surely?

This is such a lame smear tactic to try and get him cancelled, for performing a 40 year old concept piece about the dangers of fascism and authoritarianism. Turn off the Faux news, it sells nothing but manufactured outrage... Well, that and the very weapons of war that RW has spent a career railing against.

He's been doing this forever. The crossed hammers are not swastikas.
"I've always been mad, I know I've been mad, like the
most of us...very hard to explain why you're mad, even
        if you're not mad..."

Pink Floyd 1987,1994 (both CNE Stadium, Toronto)
Roger Waters 1984, (Maple Leaf Gardens)
        2017(x2), 2022(x2) (all 4 at Scotiabank Arena)
Nick Mason 2022 (Massey Hall, Toronto)

What's the point of posting this? And why are acting like this outfit is a new thing????? He's been using that outfit for years and its clearly intended to be satire, so I don't know why you're acting like this is a new thing he's done for "attention". Just a dumb post all around.

I will say, my wife thought it quite odd when he shot the machine gun into the crowd. She said, " how will that go over in the US with all the shootings ?"

I told her, there is a line in the song " If I had my way, I'd have all of you shot !"

Roger is in character. Nothing more.

You mean, like, at all the shows in the US last year where he did that same bit?

This is as pathetically hilarious and as misinformed as Pink Floyd being "cancelled" by the anti-woke crowd for the DSOTM rainbow earlier this year.

It's being reported on the BBC radio news every hour on the hour. Nothing about In The Flesh or context, it says he's wearing a Nazi coat and armband and firing a gun. They're making a big point of mentioning it is in Berlin, and Germany famously has rigid anti0-hate laws regarding use of Nazi imagery.

Clearly the pro-Israeli BBC News Tories up to mischief again, laying the groundwork for cancelling him.

Politicians in the UK are now demanding his shows be banned:
                      https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-englan...ester-65716550

"Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters should not perform in Manchester amid fears his "divisive actions" could fuel anti-Jewish hatred, an MP has said.

Mr Waters, who left Pink Floyd in 1985, played in Germany "dressed as an SS soldier", the House of Commons heard.

Bury South Labour MP Christian Wakeford said Mr Waters used theStar of David on a giant pig and the name of Jewish diarist Anne Frank at his show.

The musician said people had "wrongly accused him of being an antisemite".

The BBC has attempted to contact Mr Waters' representatives for a response to Mr Wakeford's comments.

Earlier this week, Mr Waters said he had been left saddened by people trying to cancel his shows.

Mr Wakeford told MPs he was "concerned" about Mr Waters playing at the AO Arena on 10 June.

"The city of Manchester has a rich and vibrant history in which those of different faiths and backgrounds have lived together as well as stood together through difficult times and times of division," he said.

"Will the Leader of the House agree with me that concerts like this have no place in our society and shouldn't go ahead?"

Commons Leader Penny Mordaunt replied: "I shall make certain that the Home Office has heard (Mr Wakeford's) concerns today and I think that this House has made great efforts, particularly in recent years, to ensure that the scourge of antisemitism is addressed and stamped out from our country."

In a Facebook post, Mr Waters this week thanked those who had attended his shows in Germany.

He also paid tribute to the White Rose movement, a resistance group in Nazi Germany.

He said: "The fact that some in power in Germany and some at the behest of the Israeli lobby have attacked me, wrongly accusing me of being an antisemite, and have tried to cancel my shows saddens me.

"Walking around Munich yesterday afternoon, I couldn't shake off the feeling that I was in the presence of Big Brother. It leaves a bad taste."

The Jewish Representative Council of Greater Manchester said in a statement: "Roger Waters is famous for being a member of one of the most important bands in history.

"Unfortunately, he is now more synonymous with spreading deeply troubling political views that will rightly concern Jewish and other communities across Greater Manchester."

John Lennon and the Beatles in their Hamburg days used to do Nazi salutes and take the piss out of Hitler and their audience, the crowd used to love it.

The BBC is reporting that Roger is being investigated for inciting racial hatred.

                            Investigated by whom?

Sky says it is the police: https://news.sky.com/story/pink-floy...ncert-12889759

Seems the German police have already made up their minds:

"Berlin Police Chief Inspector Martin Halweg confirmed to Sky News that officers had "initiated criminal investigation proceedings in the case regarding suspicion of incitement of the people".

"He added: "The context of the stage clothes worn is likely to condone, glorify or justify the Nazi dictatorship and arbitrary rule in a way that violates the dignity of the victims and thereby disturbs public peace.

"All incriminating and exculpatory evidence will be collected for the preliminary investigation and will be used in the proceedings."

"Prosecutors will consider any possible charges once police have concluded their investigations."

I will be the first to admit that I do not agree with everything the man says or does; however, in this particular instance it goes to show more the lack of understanding and general stupidity we have as a culture now.
