Here is a review of Andy Jackson's records: the ten or so years spent with Pink Floyd and the solo members had an audible effect on his music.
3 of his albums were widely distributed:
-2014's Signal to Noise,
-2016's 73 Days at Sea, and
-Twelve Half Steps, released this year.
His very first record is Obvious, made in 2000 (with Gary Wallis (yes, Pink Floyd's tour musician) on drums), and
Handy Works, which will be released digitally in 2020, can be considered more of an experimental record.
The "World music" motif appears on the latter, which also runs throughout this year's album.
He played (almost) every instrument on all his records and sang himself, except for a few songs and the instrumental albums.
Because of this year's record, he really deserves to be considered a kind of 6th member of Pink Floyd.
I think his works are worth more than the works of tribute bands, because he reflects the influence of Pink Floyd by acquiring his own songs.
